Medical Surprise

"Open you mouth, say a",
"let me look at your nose",
"turn right i want to see your ear, now left".
"You have Flu, it will be there for a while, unfortunately there is no medication for it, you just take Crocin for three days and in spite of that if you still have fever then ill put you on antibiotics."
"ok doctor" was my reply, i was highly disappointed as i had taken in the pain to travel, for an hour during the peak hour in the evening, waited for my turn to come patiently and then going back without any prescription.I was disappointed, for not having any problem. I was disappointed that I was sent back without any prescription, all I had to was have crocin and wait and watch if the problem still persists.
Few days later, i was down with  pain in my lower abdomen, "ouch" it hurted me hard, oh it was late in the evening i didn't know what to, lazy to do anything i just took a pain killer and called up a friend, he asked me for the symptoms and suggested to get a sonography.
Sonography i thought my friend had gone mad, but hearing to a doctor was must so i pulled up myself and forced myself to go to the hospital. I was cursing myself all the while, went to the department, the nurse looked and me and enquired if i had eaten something in the morning, i said no, she asked me to go and have water and come and gave me a chit to pay in the billing section for the test. taking out the biggest of all the Gandhi notes 1000 and adding another 100 to it i wondered and prayed "bhagwan, iss test mein kuch to nikale nahi to barbad hue mere 1100 rupee". i went to the canteen got myself a bottle of water and forced myself to drink it down and went back. the nurse checked she said the water hasn't reached the bladder, wait for a while , walk a little and come back when i really wanted to pee. with a great effort and a restless hour of moving back and front i managed to finally create an adequate amount of pressure. and went to the room to get the testing done, when the doctor started examining, i was all anxious about what it was looking like, as it was my first sonography test. The doctor continued testing and at the end  said, there looks like a small stone in your left kidney. It is smaller in size nothing to worry much have good amount of water and itll be fine. Ah hearing that bought a smile to my face, ah at last my 1100 rupees was worth it.
Tragedy of life, when we have no ailments and still spend money we find it funny and not worth spending it, but when we  find a problem and have paid for it . sad but the truth. lets learn to change out thought and appreciate life when there is no problem and we even have to pay price to rule it out.
